Healthy You Tip!

Help Your Aging Loved Ones This Holiday

The holidays can be a mixed blessing for many older adults. “They may feel a sense of loss and frustration because of ill health, and limited income and energy,” says psychiatrist Ralph Primelo, M.D. “It can make holiday gift-buying, traveling and cooking more difficult each year.” How can you help an aging relative or friend? Don’t expect her to cook, shop or travel as in past years. Take on more responsibility and plan accordingly. If your loved one seems especially down this season, call 610-402-CARE to find a doctor who can help.
